ECHOES OF MIGRATION

Echoes of Migration is an interdisciplinary project exploring migration as an ongoing, intergenerational process rather than a single event. Starting from my mother’s migration journey from Ghana to Germany in 1997, the work connects her experiences with my own perspective as her daughter. The project consists of two interactive poster series and a short film, combining graphic design, augmented reality, sound and movement. Using apps like "Eyejack" and "Artivive", the posters come to life, adding an animated layer to the exploration of identity, memory, belonging and the question of what it truly means to arrive.
