This is Life

In this project, I invited viewers into my world and portrayed my life through strong visual contrasts. I offered insights into different areas of my life, including my work environment, family, friends, love life, university experience, and mental health, while also addressing social criticism. The images conceal specific emotions that I felt during the moments they were taken, such as joy, love, fear, confusion, sadness, and anger.
I consciously limited the visual language to black and white in order to emphasize the contrasts and lighting conditions, demonstrating that a reduced color palette is sufficient to create meaningful and expressive images. To provide diverse perspectives, I chose to work with collages (3×3).
From the original title, “This is Life,” a more personal interpretation emerged:
“This is MY Life.”
